Ethanol Amine Recycled Product
From time to time, CHEM Group will take used ethanol amine solution from our customers if they prefer to covert to an alternate amine or recharge with fresh product. In these cases, we distill the used fluids to generate a high quality refined amine for resale to other amine users. Typically, the recycled amine is concentrated to >80 wt% so it could be added to your fresh amine tank and used as make up fluid. We usually have inventories of refurbished DEA, MDEA, DGA® and activated MDEA available for purchase. These purified recycled products are typically 25-35% less expensive than their virgin purchase price making them cost effective alternatives for amine system make up or refill. Significant cost saving can be realized by employing these clean high quality recycled as a cost cutting measure compared to new virgin product supply.
Sulfolane® Products
Sulfolane® is an organic solvent predominantly used as an extraction solvent for BTX or aromatic removal from hydrocarbon feed streams but is also used in sour gas sweetening, (i.e., removal of acid gases from a natural gas stream). Due to its combination of physical and chemical properties, Sulfolane® has been used in a variety of new applications including as an extraction distillation solvent, polymer solvent, polymer plasticizer, polymerization solvent, and in electronic/electrical applications and dyestuff intermediates.
CHEM Group is a reliable distributor of virgin Aqueous and Anhydrous Sulfolane® for use as a component of Sulfinol® for gas treating or as a stand-alone fluid for applications involving BTX extraction. Sulfolane® Technical Support is provided and includes fluid analysis, contaminant identification due to Sulfolane® Degradation, technical trouble-shooting as well as purification services via distillation to remove impurities and maintain your solvent specifications.
